This friendly hideaway is just a 4-mile drive from the 'Snowshed' lift that takes you up to the big-mountain skiing of Killington. You can drive it or take the regular shuttle. The hotel's 'best breakfast on the mountain' begins your day with omelettes, blueberry pancakes and brandied raisin French toast among the culinary delights. After a fantastic day on the slopes you'll come back to delicious mulled cider, prepared by friendly hosts Karen and Paul Steele, which you can sip by the fireside. Another great way to relax and wind down after the day's activities is to take a dip in the heated indoor pool - that way you'll work up a great appetite to enjoy the lovely cuisine in Olivia's restaurant. Softly lit and filled with antiques, this is a renowned eaterie, and the pub is super-friendly, decorated with early Vermont Americana. Along the Killington Road there are plenty of restaurants and bars if you fancy a bit of lively après-ski!
