Vail Hold Bargain Seasion Pass Rate At 2008 Price
Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
Vail Resorts is again issuing its industry leading Epic Pass for 2009-10, and holding it to the same remarkable bargain price as this season’s pass was sold for in 2008.
But you’ll need to move quickly to secure last year’s price, as that’s only guaranteed to April 9th, when you place a deposit of $49 per ticket.
The remarkable Epic season Pass is valid at all five Vail resorts (Beaver Creek, Keysatone, Breckenridge and Vail), plus the company’s Heavenly resort on the California/Nevada border and at Arapahoe Basin - a neighbour of Vail’s Colorado resorts. It is valid without restriction every day of the winter from November 2009 to April 2010.
The pass costs $579 for adults - just a few dollars more than a peak season six day ticket, so is well worth considering if you plan to ski for more than six days at Vail resorts. The pass costs $279 for children aged 5 to 12, children four and under are free and those aged 13 – 17 pay the adult price.
In total the Pass gives access to more than 17,400 acres of terrain, 128 chairlifts and 722 trails at six resorts from opening day in November until closing day in April, including every holiday in between with no blackout dates.
“The Vail Resorts Epic Season Pass has given our guests the opportunity to ski or ride when they want and how they want,” said Rob Katz, chief executive officer for Vail Resorts. “For many of our guests, the Epic Season Pass offered them a new “luxury” - the luxury to take multiple trips to our world-class resorts this year, as well as the luxury to focus on spending time with their friends and family instead of focusing on the price of each individual trip and ski day.”
Epic Season Pass purchasers will continue to receive exclusive offers and promotions for lodging, dining, ski rentals, equipment, ski school and special events for the 2009-2010 ski and snowboard season as part of the Epic Pass Club.
All Vail Resorts season passes will continue to utilize the new, state-of-the-art Radio Frequency Technology for an “easy scan” process that gives skiers and snowboarders the option to keep their pass zipped inside their jacket while getting “scanned” in lift lines.
