Vail Good For Beginners And Veterans Alike
Thursday, November 8th, 2007
Vail is a good beginners’ ski resort, a new article has suggested.
News provider Vail Daily spoke to a new resident in the area Cynthia Wood, who expressed her intention to take up skiing on the snowy slopes of the iconic resort.
"I can’t wait for opening day," she said, adding that people are often surprised that she isn’t already a ski expert because she lives so close to the slopes.
Experienced skier Ian Craig, meanwhile, told the publication that skiing at Vail made even a snow sports veteran like himself feel like he was taking his first trip up the mountain again.
The expansive nature of the resort’s mountains means that growing tired or familiar is unlikely, Mr Craig said.
Vail is among the resorts in Colorado that adopts a multi-pass lift system to make ski holidays in the area even more exciting.
The Dallas Press recently highlighted the system, through which people on breaks in Vail can ski in Breckenridge, Keystone and Beaver Creek.
