Vail’s Epic Pass Back For 2010 – 11

Vail have announced their Epic Pass is back for next winter and can be bought now.
The Epic Pass gives unlimited and unrestricted skiing at the company’s five resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado and Heavenly in California as well as another Colorado ski centre the company doesn’t own, Arapahoe Basin.
The costs of $599 is only a little more than the cost of a high-season six-day ticket for Beaver Creek or Vail so anyone planning to ski for more than seven days during the winter will save money buying it. Children aged 5 to 12 pay $299.

A new option this year is the Epic 7-Pack which gives skiers and snowboarders seven days of unrestricted skiing and riding at any one of the six areas for $449, or almost 35 percent off of a single day lift ticket price.
Another option is the Summit Pass, available for $409, which provides unlimited lift access at the top Summit County resorts – Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin – with no date restrictions.
Prices are guaranteed through to May 31st, 2010 and are available to purchase on www.epicpass.com for a $49 deposit with the balance payable in the autumn.
“We listened to feedback from our guests and we wanted to offer an array of season pass products that cater to what our guests are looking to experience in their ski and snowboard getaways,†said Rob Katz, chief executive officer for Vail Resorts.
New this year, skiers and snowboarders who purchase their pass this spring will also receive special benefits for this summer 2010 including access for sightseeing and gondola rides.
