Snow Forecast For Whistler

In the past 48 hours, 22 cms of snow has fallen on the popular ski holiday resort of Whistler.
While Whistler and Whistler Blackcomb’s halfpipes remain closed, those on snowboarding holidays will find both terrain parks open for business.
Light snow is forecast at the Whistler resort over the weekend, with the Ski Club of Great Britain predicting ten cms of snow this Saturday.
The Ski Club of Great Britain also forecast that the Austria ski resort of Ischgl would see 68 cms of snow this week, while estimating a fall of 44 and 41 cms for the French ski resorts of Chamonix and Verbier respectively.
Whistler has announced that 61 per cent of its terrain is now open for skiing, with surface conditions on the mountain described as "soft packed".
Lifts scheduled to open in Whistler this weekend are Whistler Village gondola, Creekside gondola, Red chair, Emerald chair and Franz’s while at Blackcomb the Excalibur gondola, Wizard Express, Solar Coaster Express, Excelerator chair, Jersey Cream Express and Catskinner chair lifts are expected to open for weekend skiing.
