Skiing In Breckenridge
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Ski holidays in the North American resort of Breckenridge - or Breckenfridge as it is affectionately known - are perfect for all levels of ski ability, according to the Ski Club of Great Britain.
Noting that holidaymakers should spend time acclimatising due to the resort’s "extremely high" altitude, the Ski Club explains that Breckenridge caters for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers.
Breckenridge also offers skiers the opportunity to try out snowboarding, off piste skiing and riding the mogul fields.
According to the Ski Club, Breckenridge was the first resort in Colorado to allow snowboarding.
This legacy remains and the resort is popular with snowboarders, who make up a quarter of the holidaymakers on the slopes during the winter.
Those on ski holidays in Breckenridge can also access the ski areas of Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and the Arapahoe Basin which are linked by a free bus service.
