Copper To Launch Indoor Aerials Facility
Thursday, September 18th, 2008
For over 20 years, a company called Woodward has offered some of the world’s best summer action sports and gymnastics camps.
This December, Woodward will open its first winter facility, at Copper Mountain in Colorado, giving boarders and freeskiers the opportunity to perfect aerial tricks in a safe indoor environment using state of the art training equipment delivered by expert staff.
“The 19,000sq ft indoor facility, Woodward at Copper, has been designed to get first-timers comfortable in the air whether you are going for your first grab or trying to land your first double cork.
Whether you’re a freeskier or boarder, intermediate to elite, you’ll reach levels you’ve only previously dreamed of.” said a spokesperson for Woodward at Copper.
The progressive teaching tools, including trampolines, foam pits, resi-pits and bungee systems will help skiers and boarders push the limits of their abilities.
Once technique has been mastered it’s out to one of Copper’s five terrain parks to put what has been learned into practice.
Camps lasting between a day and week will be available and in the evenings the facility will be available for family fun.
