The North American ski resort of Aspen has been named number one for those on beginner ski holidays, it has been reported.
According to Destination Villas, Colorado on the whole is a good area for new skiers to practice their snowploughs and pole planting techniques as the resort area of Copper Mountain was listed at number two on the list.
Those who develop their ski skills at Copper Mountain will also find a range of intermediary slopes to practice on.
Copper Mountain was also recommended as the best resort for those on a family ski holiday.
While Breckenridge was named the best resort for single skiers to mingle, along with Killington, Mount Tremblant, Park City and Vail.
Holidaymakers looking for quiet ski slopes were recommended to take ski holidays to Aspen in Colorado as well as Montana’s Big Sky.
However, Bear Mountain in California and Breckenridge in Colorado were recommended to those on snowboarding holidays on account of their terrain parks.
