Colorado Flexible Ski System Highlighted

Colorado is a good bet for travellers looking for a flexible, good-value ski holiday, it has been suggested.
Following news from the Associated Press that resorts in Colorado have been opening early due to good snowfall, a new report in the Dallas News has highlighted the multi-mountain tickets implemented by many of the area’s resorts, including those in Vail and Summit County and those in Aspen and Snowmass.
"You can ski or snowboard on different mountains every day if the spirit to roam moves you," the report’s author, Claire Walter, states.
Described as the easiest system by the publication, the Aspen-Snowmass deal means that any lift pass is valid at all four areas: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.
Meanwhile, Vail and Summit County operates a system where passes can be purchased that are valid at both Breckenridge and Keystone and at Vail and Beaver Creek – additionally, holders of Breckenridge-Keystone passes can use them at certain times in Beaver Creek and Vail, while Beaver Creek-Vail passes are always valid at Breckenridge and Keystone.
