In what could have been the plotline of a disaster film, three US actors have recently had to be rescued during a ski trip in Aspen, it has been revealed.
The Aspen Ski Patrol rescued actors Rob Morrow, Chad Lowe and Fisher Stevens after they got lost in snow and fog in the Colorado mountains, the Associated Press reports.
Ski Patrol members located the celebrities three hours after other skiers who they were also lost with telephoned for help.
Morrow, star of TV series Numb3rs, insisted that they were "all good skiers", according to the Associated Press.
Aspen boasts four main ski areas; Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, with Aspen Highlands arguably being the most family ski holiday friendly.
Of all its ski runs, 18 per cent of Aspen Highlands’ pistes are described as easy while a further 30 per cent are classified as "more difficult" and 36 per cent as "expert", meaning that there is a good selection of grades for all the family.
