White Wednesday In Engelberg

Engelberg has decided to devote every Wednesday to snow, pure and simple, and the exciting opportunities it creates.
Every Wednesday from January through to April, you can expect to find all kinds of fun activities up at Trübsee above the famous Swiss resort.
You can join in from 1-4pm and help build an igloo, try your hand at eisstockschiessen (a Swiss sport similar to curling), enjoy a game of snow volleyball, try tubing or snowshoeing and there’s much more besides.
A particularly entertaining activity is the Balancer sledge on which you can tackle a parallel slalom course. The trick is to hold your balance as best you can.
The parallel slalom is lots of fun and a great source of amusement for both participants and onlookers.
No registration is required, just turn up and enjoy.
