Switzerland Good For Grown Up Beginners
Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Adults wishing to take up skiing for the first time could enjoy ski holidays in Switzerland, according to one publication.
The Times reports that the Swiss ski resort of Zermatt is a great resort for adults who are new to skiing.
Additionally, holidaymakers may find the resort perfect for Christmas ski holidays thanks to stunning scenery and abundance of non-ski related activities that are available to travellers.
Times Online ski expert Kate Whittaker also recommended that newbie skiers take the Sunnegga Express funicular, which leads to an area of easy ski slopes that are good for beginner skiers and also those progressing to an early intermediate stage.
Meanwhile, the Ski Club of Great Britain has predicted that Swiss ski resorts will benefit from a flurry of snowfalls over the weekend.
More than ten centimetres of snow is expected to fall in Switzerland with depths on the upper slopes at the Swiss ski resort of Zermatt currently measuring between 40 and 200 centimetres.
