Masked Ball Takes Place In Verbier
Thursday, March 27th, 2008

As Britons on their Easter breaks - including members of the royal family - enjoyed ski holidays in Verbier, the Swiss ski resort was also playing host to a star-attended masked ball.
Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia hosted the Venetian-themed charity ball along with Virgin mogul Sir Richard Branson, HHE reports.
The aim of the ball was to raise $1 million (£500,000) for charity End Fistula with the aim of ending the disease’s spread in Africa.
Verbier recently attracted the Duchess of York and her two daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie for a ski holiday for the latter’s 18th birthday.
Next month, Verbier High Five by Carlsberg, a freestyle five competition event, is taking place at the ski resort.
Open to downhill skiers, and snowboarders the event features a giant slalom, a boarder cross, a mogul run, a triathlon and a parallel slalom.
