A New Mountain Restaurant At Crans Montana
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008
Crans Montana will open a new Alpine restaurant high up at 2,250m above the resort this winter.
The new Les Violettes restaurant will put the onus on comfort, service and high quality food.
Crans-Montana already offers very diverse cuisine on the ski pistes, with 15 existing restaurants where you can choose from a quick bite to eat between descents or take your time over a gourmet quality meal.
Even up on the glacier, at an altitude of 3000m, you can savour local Valaisian regional dishes prepared just as carefully in the kitchens of the semi-gastronomic restaurant as you enjoy awesome views of the mountains.
Down in the resort of Crans-Montana itself there are over fifty restaurants are ready to choose from.
The options include Japanese, Thai, Lebanese, Chinese or perhaps Argentinian, French or Italian.
Even Swiss food is available and above all, the resort’s many restaurants provide a chance to discover local produce from the Valais region, in particular the excellent quality wine, produced on the south-facing slopes below the resort.
