Thursday, February 28th, 2008

This weekend, temperatures in Europe are set to drop, the Ski Club of Great Britain reports.
According to the Ski Club, this is likely to bring new snow to many resorts by the beginning of next week.
In particular, Austrian ski resorts are set to benefit from the cold weather, with more than 500 centimetres of snow anticipated to fall.
Resorts with good conditions in Austria are named to be Obergurgl and Ischgl. It was recently announced that Elton John and the Stereophonics are both to perform at Ischgl’s Top of the Mountain closing ceremony in the coming months.
Snow is not expected to fall in France until Tuesday of next week, while Switzerland should expect "heavy" snowfalls from this day.
For those on holidays in Bulgaria, Bansko is said to have the best snow and holidaymakers are advised to head high up the slopes for the good powder.
