Ski Club Offers Group Ski Holiday Tips
Friday, June 20th, 2008

The Ski Club of Great Britain has offered tips and advice on how to organise group ski holidays this winter.
Noting that it can be difficult to arrange a ski holiday for a large number of people, the first piece of advice was that patience and diplomacy are required.
Ski Club notes that the chief organiser should take the needs of each individual into account before selecting the resort and accommodation.
"However, don’t take the decision lightly. If you’re an experienced skier, travelling with 15 beginners, then don’t head to a resort with 80 per cent red and black runs. A good all-rounder would be best," it notes.
Once the main parts have been decided, the organiser should then gather the costs together and send out an email to all skiers giving out as much detail as possible.
The correspondence should include dates, times, locations, details of those travelling and information about what holidaymakers can expect for their money.
Collecting deposits is also important to avoid being stung if people pull out, while booking early could save money, the Ski Club notes.
