Powder Conditions In Europe
Friday, April 4th, 2008

With the final week of this year’s staggered Easter holidays beginning on Monday (April 7th 2008), many Brits are planning on taking end of season family ski holidays to Europe.
And according to the Ski Club of Great Britain’s weather report, provided they head for upper ski areas in Europe, holidaymakers should benefit from powder snow conditions.
Heavy snowfall is predicted for Austria, Switzerland and Germany while Italian and French ski resorts should benefit from firm snow conditions thanks to winter conditions.
Temperatures in Austria have dropped resulting in more snow although for some resorts, the best snow is still on the upper slopes.
"The wintry weather and snowfalls are forecast to continue throughout the weekend with only a few breaks in the cloud cover," the Ski Club predicts.
One of Austria’s best known ski resorts, Kitzbuhel is home to the Hahnenkamm mountain annual world cup downhill ski race.
