Eight Inches Of New Snow At Marmot Basin

Over 20 cm of new snow has fallen at Marmot Basin in Alberta, Canada since Monday much to the delight of powder starved skiers and riders anxiously looking for their next fix.
“The Jasper locals were up early this morning chomping at the bit to get out there in all the new snow” reports Brian Rode, Marmot’s Vice President of Marketing.
“Up to now we have had great skiing conditions on the groomed runs but I will admit the powder junkies were getting a little desperate. With all this new snow we now have the best of all worlds, great powder runs as well as perfectly groomed trails” added Rode.
