Switzerland, Austria And France Still Have Good Snow
Friday, December 21st, 2007

Those looking to take a last minute Christmas ski holiday will most likely be seeking to travel to a resort which boasts good snow conditions.
According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, Austria, France and Switzerland still for the most part have good snow.
Meanwhile, the forecast for Austria and France is sunny skies this weekend and snowfall is predicted for the ski resorts of Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes.
Snow is also forecast to fall in Canada this coming week.
"It’s very cold at the moment, reaching a top temperature of about minus five degrees Celsius in the afternoon and together with the wind chill this is keeping the snow in great condition. Some of the pistes are hard but definitely not icy and conditions are generally fantastic compared, particularly, to last year," commented Ski Club rep Jane Billington, who is based in Austria.
The Association of British Travel Agents recently reported that early snowfall had resulted in one of the best starts to a ski season in recent times.
