Sun And Snow Forecast For This Weekend

Those heading to Canada for a ski holiday this weekend should be happy to know that snowfall is expected for the ski resort of Whistler.
According to the Ski Club of Great Britain 16 cm is forecast to fall tonight, with 4 cm due on Saturday and a further 5 cm on Sunday, with wind chill on Saturday predicted to be at around -6 degrees C.
In France, Chamonix is set for sunny weather over the course of the weekend with a moderate wind chill, however, snowfall of up to 30 cm is forecast for Sunday 19th.
Similarly those enjoying ski holidays across the way in Val d’Isere can hope to enjoy clear sunny skies over the weekend, again with snow reaching the slopes on Sunday evening.
Across the Alps, Switzerland can expect a similar climate with sun and blue skies, although with a slight increased in wind speed toward the back half of the weekend, snow is also due on Sunday evening.
