Skiers Advised: Book Ski Holidays For Key Dates Now
Monday, February 19th, 2007
Travellers planning to go on ski holidays at peak times next year should consider booking now, it has been claimed.
According to a ski sales consultant at Alpine Answers, people are already enquiring about next year’s ski holidays.
"If you are looking to go on a peak date, for example Christmas, new year or February half term, then you should definitely think about booking now," Jessica Sales commented.
However, in regards to booking for the current ski season, Ms Sales advised that those who were willing to hang on could secure discounts on last minute ski holidays.
"Most of the operators drop their prices on the chalets/hotels that have not yet sold just a few weeks before the departure dates, so if you can wait until a few weeks before you want to go, you can get some great deals," she noted.
Ms Sales also claimed that skiers are increasingly heading to North America for their ski trips as the snow conditions tend to be superior and prices are not very much more expensive than those of European ski holidays.
