Santa Ski Event In Scotland This December
Monday, November 26th, 2007

While avid skiers look forward to Christmas ski holidays and the opening of many European ski resorts this December, a special Santa Ski Challenge is due to take place in Scotland.
On December 9th, visitors can get dressed up in supplied Santa suits and join in the Momentum Santa Ski and Board Challenge at the SNO!zone slope at Glasgow’s Xscape.
The ski challenge consists of a sponsored five kilometre endurance downhill skiing and snowboarding event which must be completed in two hours.
All proceeds raised in this event will go to Momentum Care, so while building up stamina for a snowboarding holiday or ski break, participants will also be supporting a charity.
Children are also welcome to join in the event - with 20 spaces available at a cost of £5 per child.
The event is brand new to SNO!zone and family activities such as sledging are available on the side-slopes.
