Late Season Ski Tips From The Times

UK consumers looking to take a ski holidays late on in the season have been offered some tips on where to travel by the Times.
According to the newspaper, a good time to go on a ski holidays in order to avoid the crowds is last week of February, in March or in early April as this is when the resorts are less crowded.
Holidaymakers have also been advised to "aim high" in order to avoid slushy patches of snow caused by a potential rise in temperatures as spring approaches.
The publication also suggested North America as a destination: "The climate in the Rockies is so much more wintry than the Alps and US resorts in the chain have had a sensational two months of snowfall."
Other destinations listed by the publication as being good for late season skiing are European resorts above 2,000 metres such as Tignes, Val d’Isere, Val Thorens, Zermatt, Obergurgl and Cervinia.
