Half Term Ski Tips Issued
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

Britons taking family ski holidays this half term have been issued with advice from the Ski Club of Great Britain.
According to the Ski Club, those travelling abroad to Europe and North America should check that their dates do not clash with local school holiday dates if they wish for a quieter ski break.
Other factors that are important for a top family ski holiday are listed as choosing appropriate accommodation and considering resorts that supply families with free lift passes for children.
Parents are also advised to book ski schools early in order to guarantee a place as they can book up quickly, in particular English-speaking groups.
The Ski Club of Great Britain also notes that it is "generally very easy to plan a holiday which avoids the busiest weeks of the season".
