Bulgarian Skiing Has Good All Round Appeal
Tuesday, February 20th, 2007
Ski holidays to Bulgaria have a "good all round appeal" it has been claimed.
According to Nina McMaster, a senior product manager for Neilson Ski Holidays, Bulgaria is a good location for families, couples and group ski holiday-makers.
Furthermore, she added that the area was great for beginners as it is a comparatively cheap region.
"Bulgaria has seen growth in the last two years mainly due to the number of new hotels and apartments that have been built in the relatively new resort of Bansko," Ms McMaster added.
She also noted that the ski season so far was progressing smoothly, with sales equal to those of last year.
Ms McMaster also observed that while a strong growth in sales of Canadian ski holidays had been apparent prior to poor snow conditions being reported in the Alps, there has been an increase in late interest in the region which Neilson attributes to its "exceptional snowfall".
Neilson Ski Holidays, offers skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing holidays in Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and USA.
