Toboggan Cup In Val Thorens
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

This weekend the Val Thorens Toboggan Cup is taking place, an event that could offer a fun break from snowploughs and parallel turns for those on ski holidays in the French resort.
Val Thorens notes that this will be its first ever Toboggan Cup using the longest tobogganing run in France.
Perfect for those on family ski holiday, the fun-filled event is open to people of all ages.
Holidaymakers can compete in four distinct categories: Children, adults, couples and professionals.
The toboggan run is six kilometres long and there are "fun trophy" prizes available for the winners.
"More than a competition, this will be a fun trophy which reunites over 150 French and European snowsport fans on a [meticulously prepared] run," Val Thorens insists.
Following the races, all participants will be able to celebrate or commiserate over a giant raclette at the finish line.
