New Lift Ticket And Ticket Discounts At La Clusaz
Thursday, November 27th, 2008
La Clusaz and its neighbour Le Grand Bornand have introduced a new hands-free ski pass this winter.
The new ticket is a microchip card which makes using the ski lifts quicker and easier as the gates open automatically as you approach.
You should put your ski pass inside your jacket, on the top left hand side. It will be remotely detected by the terminals, which automatically open the turnstiles.
The pass, which costs 1.5 Euros, can be recharged online as many times as you like, so that you don’t need to go to the ski pass office in resort.
You can order your hands-free microchip card and ski pass from the comfort of your own home before you go to La Clusaz or Le Grand Bornand by logging onto www.skipasslaclusaz.com at least 10 days prior to your arrival in resort.
In addition the resorts are offering a family reduction for families with five members or more from the same household including at least one child aged under 15 years who are buying at least a 6 day lift pass.
The group will receive a 50% reduction on the public price for the youngest child’s ski pass, as long as the start date is the same for all the ski passes. To qualify you must bring appropriate ID and pay with one single payment.
