New Bands Confirmed For TignesFest
Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

A selection of bands have been confirmed to perform at this year’s TignesFest in the French Alps.
The music festival will be held from April 17th until April 20th and a number of DJs and bands are set to perform, while there will also be a huge focus on skiing, according to the event organisers.
Confirmed acts include A Human, The Bloody Beetroots, Chris Lung, Dark Jedis, David E Sugar, James Yuill, Kissy , Naomi Roper, Poney Poney, The Shoes, Tokyoyoyo and Trash Fashion.
"You carve down a beautiful French mountain on a snowboard, then take your apres ski with the Autokratz and Boy 8 Bit and while you go nuts at a brilliant gig, your mates can hear it go out on XFM and curse the fact they’re not there with you," festival co-curator Eddy Temple Morris of XFM commented.
And those on snowboarding holidays in Tignes really don’t have a reason not to attend, as the festival is free.
Radio 1’s Kissy Sell Out and The Loose Cannons from Kiss FM will also be broadcasting the festival.
