La Plagne also markets itself as an excellent family ski holiday resort, as it offers facilities such ice rinks, youth clubs, dog sled rides, swimming pools, fitness centres, snow shoe walks, paragliding, hang-gliding, squash, climbing and bowling.
Currently, La Plagne is experiencing good snow conditions, according to Ski Club of Great Britain weather reports.
On-piste skiing is described as "excellent", following 5 cm of snowfall overnight and another 2 cm is forecasted for the coming days, with upper slope snow depths currently measuring 275 cm.
In total, 101 out of 103 ski lifts are open at the resort, compared to 71 earlier this month.
