Hot Spots For Half Term Skiing
Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

The Ski Club of Great Britain has revealed what proved to be the more popular ski resorts this February half term.
According to the Ski Club, ski holidays in Verbier were popular with queues of a 40 minute length appearing at the base of the main ski lift reported last week.
Despite the delays, the organisation claimed that it is possible to avoid crowds over the holidays by avoiding the "obvious lifts" and using "imagination".
The Ski Club notes that the Verbier primary run down from Attelas to Ruinettes is usually "packed at the end of the day", yet a quieter alternative is available in the Fontenay run.
Additionally, it claimed that February 2008 has so far proved to be "one of the best half terms for years".
Recently, the Ski Club offered tips for those heading to the slopes for ski breaks during the school holidays, which included booking well in advance for ski lessons.
