Half Term Fun At French Ski Resort
Wednesday, September 19th, 2007
There are plenty of activities taking place in the Lex Deux Alpes ski resort in France this October, it has been revealed.
People looking to head off on a family ski holiday this October half-term could benefit from children’s competitions and a snowsports video festival, organised by ski product manufacturer Mondial du Ski.
Also taking place that could appeal to those on a ski break is a winter fashion show, also organised by the ski product retailer.
Les Deux Alpes is home to the largest skiable glacier in Europe and benefits from a funicular railway which transports skiers and those on snowboarding holidays to an altitude of 3,450 metres, from where they can enjoy panoramic views of Mont Blanc, France’s highest mountain.
In the evenings, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the sights of the lovely resort town of Les Deux Alpes while also having the opportunity to attend professional evening ski demonstrations.
