End Of Season Events In Alpe DHuez

As the 2007/08 ski season draws to a close, a number of events are scheduled to take place in the French resort of Alpe d’Huez.
This weekend (Friday April 11th and Saturday April 12th 2008), the France Ski Cross Championship is taking place at the ski holiday resort.
On April 16th and 17th, Alpe d’Huez will host the PlayStation Experience 2008. For the last decade, those on ski holidays in Alpe d’Huez have been able to demo the latest PlayStation games and consoles.
This month, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and SingStar 3 will be among the new games on offer.
Youngsters can compete in Ski d’Or on April 19th and 20th, a contest arranged by the French Ski School that includes the best young skiers selected by each French alpine resorts’ ski schools.
The season finale will be the ESF Ski Instructors Challenge between April 20th and April 27th 2008 and 4,000 ski and snowboard instructors are expected to take part.
