Boarderweek For Skiers And Boarders
Monday, September 24th, 2007
This December Boarderweek is taking place in Val Thorens – a popular Ski France resort.
Celebrating its tenth birthday this year, the event is taking place from December 15th – 22nd and Val Thorens claims it is a festival "not to be missed".
Boarderweek includes ski and snowboard freestyle competitions and exhibitions and is likely to appeal to those on ski holidays as well as those on a snowboarding holiday.
As well as enjoying a choice of three different ski areas, those enjoying a ski holiday in Val Thorens can generally be assured of good snow conditions, with 99 per cent of the ski area being based above 2,000 metres.
Meanwhile, those on group ski holidays will appreciate the 140 kms of marked ski runs, offering a range of difficulties suitable for all levels of skier.
Those holidaying in Val Thorens during Boarderweek will also benefit from great après ski entertainment, with performances from The Space Cowboys and other musicians.
