Bad Skiers Can Still Get A Thrill
Monday, August 4th, 2008

Even relatively unskilled skiers can get a thrill out of making their way down the slopes and enjoy their France ski holidays, it has been claimed.
Rupert Tildesley, an instructor on the slopes near Val d’Isere in France, maintains that even if you are not going at a great speed, there is still a real sense of excitement to be had on skis.
"It’s a thrill - that feeling of just whizzing along using a different sort of momentum that’s not you running or walking," he told the Times.
"It’s one of those sports where you can have a great day out and really enjoy yourself even if you’re not very good at it."
France snowboarding and ski holidays tend to fill up quickly during the school breaks at different times of the year, so families looking to hit the slopes should book as soon as they can, Mr Tildsley suggests.
According to a report from Neilson Ski Holidays, there a number of ski resorts in Austria that are currently going largely unnoticed by snow sports lovers in the UK.
