Perfect Fit Ski Boots Now Cost Less

Ski boot manufacturer Salomon has announced that a special technology it uses to make ski boots fir better previously only available on some of its top-of-the-line boots, will now be expanded down its range so that more people can benefit from the benefits of a custom fitted boot.
The company’s Custom Shell patented technology was introduced on the Falcon expert boot last year, but the technology is now available on the X3, Falcon, Instinct, Impact and Idol lines, allowing more levels of skier to benefit from the precise fit the racers need to drive their skis precisely, with prices as low as £250 for a pair of Women’s Idol 8.
The world’s first ever heat-moldable shell uses perfect memory to ensure the boots fit you for life. The process involves heating the shell, stepping in and allowing the shell to form to the metatarsal contour for a personalised fit.
As well as the innovative heating of the shell to mould perfectly to your feet, the boot is now BI injected rather than insert moulded, with the aim of removing any joint deformation and creating the perfect harmonious fusion between your feet and boot. (www.SalomonSports.com)
