Telus Winter Classic In Whistler

The Telus Winter Classic weekend is taking place in Whistler this weekend.
Commencing on Friday January 25th, Ski With a Pro day sees teams enjoy an "exhilarating day" of skiing and snowboarding alongside a Whistler professional.
"Let our hot-shot pros guide you on an adventure around Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Fine-tune your skills to prepare for our exciting Race Classic on Saturday," the event organisers enthuse.
Those on ski holidays in Whistler can look forward to the Whistler Winetastic Evening of International Wines and Cheese this evening courtesy of the Westin Resort and Spa Whistler and Arla Foods.
Holidaymakers can fill up on cheeses, hot and cold appetisers and wine but should get an early night ahead of the main event which takes place on Saturday January 26th.
The Race Classic takes place at 10:00 am local time and is a good opportunity for those on ski holidays to build up an appetite for the gala dinner that takes place on top of Whistler Mountain later in the evening.
At the dinner, prizes will be awarded to the winning ski teams and the fastest male and female racers.
