Snowboard Competition Heads To London

While resorts across Europe and overseas are preparing to open for the 2007-08 ski season, those keen for a taster of snow sports can head to the British Snow Tour Quarterpipe Invitational at the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show in London this month.
Snowboarding holiday fans may wish to attend the invitational which takes place at the British Snowboard Tour’s Metro Ski and Snowboard Show at the Olympia, London, on Friday October 26th.
Described as the "largest consumer wintersports show in Europe" and the "centrepiece of the UK wintersports season", the event last year attracted 43,025 visitors many of whom no doubt picked up tips ahead of their own snowboard holidays.
Fans of ski holidays will also enjoy the Metro Ski and Snowboard Show, where they can stock up on gear ahead of their ski breaks or simply pick up tips from many of the professionals who will be attending the event.
The show takes place from Wednesday October 24th until Sunday October 28th, so snowsports fans have six days over which they can attend the ski and snowboard event.
