Womens Only Skiing In Canada
Thursday, October 25th, 2007
Hard working mums can take a break if they are on ski holidays in Canada this season, it has been reported.
The Seattle Post Intelligencer reports that several Canada ski resorts launch women’s days or a women’s week each year.
According to the publication, the Whistler Blackcomb annual women’s week is taking place next year from March 1st until March 9th.
"It is the one time each year when I can ski unfettered, worried only about myself … I don’t need to ski slowly along the blue runs while encouraging the young ones along," Anne Mullens commented in the report.
The newspaper reveals that among the activities ladies can participate in at Whistler are women-only ski and snowboard clinics which aim to improve technical skills as well as daily apres ski events and spa treatments.
Whistler is due to open for the ski season on November 22nd 2007.
