Tremblant Adds Additional Snowmaking Equipment

Holidaymakers planning a Canadian ski holiday this season may be interested to hear that Tremblant ski resort in Quebec is to install new snowmaking equipment and expand its terrain for the upcoming 2007-08 season.
Additionally, the resort has announced plans for the construction of a new gondola to take skiers and snowboarders from the village centre to the ski resort, First Tracks reports.
"Tremblant’s goal for next winter is to really take advantage of our long ski season and unique ski experience," Tremblant spokesperson Virginie Barbeau told the online ski magazine.
She added that the resort looked to make annual improvements to its snowmaking equipment to improve conditions for those on a skiing or snowboarding holiday.
Visitors on a Canada ski holiday can purchase a range of passes for the Tremblant ski resort that include a raft of special privileges, including access to the panoramic gondola, free breakfast, next-generation ski trials and more.
