Great Start For Canada
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

The January ski season in Canada is off to a "great" start, it has been asserted.
According to Neilson Ski, winter season in Canada "could not be better" thanks to recent snowfalls in many regional resorts.
Neilson reports that Banff and Kicking Horse have recently received 15 centimetres of new snow.
"However the winner this season so far is Fernie with a massive 215cm at the base. If you want guaranteed snow the place to come is Canada," the company’s Canada manager revealed.
Over the Christmas period, Fernie received 111 centimetres of snow.
Two big events are scheduled to take place in Fernie this month; the Kokanee Snowdreams Festival and the fourth annual Kokanee Snowdreams Party at the Griz Bar at Fernie Alpine Resort which both occur between January 25th and 27th.
