World First Designer Chairlift For Ischgl

Ischgl, already famous for staging major pop and rock concerts at the start (in late November) and end (in early May) of each season, is making sure it’s season long operation on the slopes continues to stay ahead of the competition.
Among the increasingly long list of stars who have appeared here are Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue and Rihanna.
The Austrian resort is currently installing a new six-seater chairlift that will set new standards of speed and comfort as well as accessing the region’s highest point at 2850m.
The detachable “Lange Wand” lift will feature luxurious leather upholstery and will have a pull-down weather-protection hood on each chair.
The seats will also be heated for added comfort and the ascent time will be cut to just 5.6 minutes.
The design of the lift will be a world first with a sleek black hanger.
