Weather Picks Up For Skiers In Europe
Friday, March 7th, 2008

Good news for ski Austria fans - fresh snow is predicted for the next few days, which could prompt many people to take advantage of last minute ski bargains.
One of the top 2008 ski destinations, Austria’s ski slopes will be replenished with new snow after a Europe-wide shortage of the white stuff throughout February, according to travelbite.co.uk.
The site states: "The higher slopes of Austrian ski resorts are probably the best place to be this weekend with the most snow and another half metres expected during the week."
Some of the best resorts this weekend will be Chamonix, with 10 cm of snow predicted just for Saturday, while Meribel is predicted to have excellent conditions on piste.
Austria is Europe’s second most popular ski holiday locations after France, with world famous resorts such as Kitzbuhel and St Anton offering Austria snowboarding and skiing fans everything they could want from a winter getaway.
