Snow-covered Slopes And Heated Ski-lifts In Austria
Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

Holidaymakers looking forward to an Austria ski trip will be thrilled with the recent snowfall in the region, however it is likely that their happiness is down to more than just the weather.
People on ski holidays in Austria will be able to enjoy the great snow conditions while remaining impervious to the cold weather while travelling on the Steinbergkogel chairlift in the Jochberg-Resterhohe area.
The new eight-seater chairlift has an all-weather protective hood as well as under-seat heating which offers "ultimate" comfort on the slopes - while the chairlift also operates at a higher efficiency - meaning journey time is reduced by four minutes.
"As from the new winter season, it is not just the queues for the lifts which will be a thing of the past – the modern under-seat heating and the protective hoods will ensure a remarkably comfortable and luxurious ride up the mountain," the Kitzbuehel website notes.
Thanks to the recent metre fall of snow, the Fleckalm cable car, Maierl, Sonnenrast and Jufenalm ski lifts will be opening from December 1st 2007.
