Austrian Ski Resort A Paradise For Snowboarders
Monday, October 15th, 2007
Those looking for a great Austria snowboarding holiday would do well to consider Kitzbuhel this winter season.
The Austria ski resort is scheduled to open for action this December 14th-16th and a mix of open-air concerts, parties, ski presentations and guided walks are set to take place.
According to Kitzbuhel magazine, the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbuehel Horn are considered by some to be "a paradise" for those on a snowboarding holiday thanks to a "highly impressive" freeride region in the midst of the Kitzbuhel Alps.
"Revel in the paradise of the powder runs. Pick up your first experiences away from the groomed slopes at the Eggl lift or go for the ultimate freeride experience on the never-ending slopes of the Raintal," Kitzbuhel urges.
"Insatiable" snowboarders are recommended to try the snowboarding terrain on the Kasereck and Silberstuben downhill run, which mixes rollers and jumps with halfpipes and mogul slopes.
