Cosy hotel which is great choice for groups.

The Airelles is a great choice for groups wanting access to good après ski as well as a fantastic ski area. This 2 star covers all the bases. It’s located in the lively Venosc area of the village and has plenty of bars, shops and restaurants close by. It’s also great for the skiing with 3 major lifts and the village nursery slopes only a couple of minutes walk. The south facing skiing is also easily accessible. A five minute walk takes you to the red egg gondola.

This is a small and cosy hotel with just 18 bedrooms but with a really friendly home-from-home atmosphere. The first floor has a bar, a lounge with an pleasant open fire and comfortable seating, and a large restaurant with panoramic views on two sides. The bedrooms are on the 2 floors above and all have private facilities. Some have balcony.

Underneath the hotel is the ‘Red Frog’, a lively après ski venue which is great to have on your doorstep but bear in mind it’s open until after midnight so noisy revellers may keep you awake, unless of course you’re one of the noisy revellers!
