La Croisette is the lively epicentre of 1850 next to the World Cup slalom stadium, where all the main ski-lifts start, the ski-school meets, and skiers throng to the apres ski bars. The recognised absolute best place to stay, is not right in the midst of this hurly-burly, but a convenient 2-minute walk away at the Coq de Bruyere! From here, you have a choice of bars, restaurants and everything that 1850 has to offer conveniently close at hand, (including the ski-hire shop right next door). On top of that, there is supremely easy access to the slopes, with the Loze piste literally just metres away.

You can ski virtually to and from the doorstep - the easy Loze piste is just across the street, barely 30m away, and leads to the Plantrey chairlift, Courchevel 1550 or the Brigues run down to Le Praz. And it's just 2 minutes' walk to the Croisette, the lively epicentre of 1850, where all the main ski-lifts start and the ski school meets. At the end of the day you can ski back by the Loze piste, or come back to within a minute's walk by the gondola from Le Praz.
