Äkäs is an atmospheric and very friendly hotel situated in the traditional unspoilt Lappish community of Ylläs in a highly scenic and peaceful wooded location, some 500m from the village centre. Its popular bar, dance floor and night club form the hub of local entertainment, and the restaurant serves excellent Lappish and international dishes. Miles of cross-country ski trails start from the door and the free ski bus leaves regularly for the main lifts.

All comfortable twins (3rd bed possible) have shower, wc, hairdryer, TV (pay movies), phone, kettle, minibar. Single occupancy at no supplement.

Good hot and cold buffet breakfast and 3 course buffet dinner included.
