Akäs Hotel & Cabins (Ylläs) Accommodation Details

An atmospheric, friendly hotel situated in the traditional unspoilt Lappish community of Äkäslompolo in a highly scenic and peaceful wooded location, some 500m from village centre. Its popular bar, dance floor, restaurant and night club form the hub of local entertainment. Miles of cross-country ski trails start from the door and the free ski bus leaves regularly for the main lifts. Types of accommodation:

I 8995 Hotel rooms, sleeps 1-3:

All comfortable twins take a 3rd bed and have shower, wc, hairdryer, TV (pay movies), phone, kettle, minibar. Single occ at no supplement.

Kanerva suites, sleep 2-3

( 28m²) Beautifully furnished modern one room suites (50m from main hotel) with twin beds and double sofa bed in lounge area, tv, sauna, shower, wc and fully equipped kitchenette.

I 5797 1 room cabin sleeps 1-4

( 31m²) Cosy open-plan log cabins (250m from main hotel) with twin beds, single sofa bed (plus rollaway child bed if 4 Occ), sauna, shower, wc, fireplace, TV (pay movies), fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, coffee-maker. Recommended for max. 3 adults.

Meals:

Good hot & cold buffet breakfast and 3 course buffet dinner included for rooms and suites (optional halfboard for cabins).

Facilities:

Bar with occasional live music and dancing, restaurant, gym, sauna, indoor swimming pool. Spa treatments (extra cost).
