Intermediate
Lake Louise is an intermediate skier`s paradise with its wide variety of long, exhilarating red (they call them blue in Canada) and green trails that offer thrills and challenges from the top to the bottom. More advanced intermediates may venture over to the back bowls and enter the world of powder skiing. Both Norquay and Sunshine Village offer further challenges.

Advanced
Lake Louise offers great back bowl steeps and wide powder bowls. Advanced riders will also benefit from visits to Sunshine Village and Mount Norquay which offer some extreme terrain and steep mogul fields.

Snowboarding
Lake Louise has a great variety of terrain for snowboarding. Just above the base station there is a great free ride park with half pipe and the back bowls offer ideal steeps and powder riding. Lake Louise is also an ideal resort to learn in as it has a great boarding school.

Apres Ski
There are just a few restaurants and bars in this small village.

Children
Lake Louise Ski Area has a well-run creche, ski kindergarten and children`s ski school which can cater for children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years. Daycare is available for babies aged 18 days-18 months, but advance registrations are essential as places are limited. Helmets are mandatory for children in ski lessons and can be hired locally.
