Hotel Cristallo Accommodation Details

Hotel Cristallo is an exciting addition to our ski programme. It re-opened in December 2005 and cleverly combines a completely refurbished original building with a completely new build housing its family rooms, public areas and leisure facilities. Its contemporary interiors, designed by an Italian company, are spacious and bright, contributing to a very relaxing environment.

The hotel’s location could not be better, literally on the slopes, next to an express chairlift, the ski school meeting point and nursery slopes and opposite the children’s ski area which can be viewed by parents from the hotel’s bar and terrace area. It’s not just the fantastic location that makes this hotel so appealing; the property boasts a huge array of facilities for adults and children of all ages. Children will love a family only indoor pool, slide and spa area, plus the games room, play area and daily activities supervised by hotel nannies. Meanwhile, parents can make the most of the superb ‘Acquapura spa’ area or enjoy one of the many beauty or massage treatments on offer.

Katschberg village centre is nearby at 250m for a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants. There are also plenty of non-ski activities to try out including toboganning, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides and torchlit walks. This is simply a superb choice for families but would be equally attractive for anyone looking for first class, ski in – ski out accommodation and everything under one roof.

Important notes: The Acquapura pool area is reserved for adults and children over 12yrs after 6pm. The sauna area is for adults and children over 12 years only. Please note, the sauna area is a naked zone so wear a towel instead of your swimming costume. We recommend you pre-book spa treatments well in advance on arrival to avoid disappointment or take advantage of our pre-bookable spa treatments – see below for details.

Meals: Extensive buffet breakfast with hot options and healthy alternatives. Light lunch buffet e.g. soup, salad and breads. Five course evening meal with starter, soup, choice of main course, salad buffet and dessert or cheese. Weekly gala dinner. A good choice of international wines is available.

Rooms (2-4 people): ‘Classic’ standard rooms are 25m2 and have recently been partly refurbished. With dark wood interiors, they have Austrian twin beds and a sofa that converts into bunk beds (suitable for one adult or two children), satellite TV and radio, telephone, fridge, hairdryer, bathrobes, ensuite bath and wc, and balcony or terrace.

Rooms (2-3 people): ‘Royal’ superior rooms, available at a supplement, are 20m2 and have been fully refurbished. They have light wood interiors, Austrian twin beds and can take an extra bed for a child only. All are equipped with satellite TV and radio, telephone, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, ensuite shower and wc, and balcony or terrace. Sole use of this room available at a supplement and on request.

Family Suites (2-5 people): ‘Family Kristall’ rooms are newly built, spacious approx. 40m2 suites, finished to a high standard and available at a supplement. The suites comprise of an Austrian twin bedroom connecting to bunk room via a walk through wardrobe, a sitting area with sofa bed, flatscreen satellite TV and radio, telephone, fridge, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes, ensuite bathroom with bath, separate shower room and separate wc, and balcony or terrace. Suites sleep a maximum of 3 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children.

Board Basis: Half Board with complementary light lunch buffet. Christmas and New Year Gala dinners included.
